Graduate School of Art Retrospective Dissertations

This collection is an "archive" of digitized School of Art theses from 1967-early 2010s. It is only available and accessible to designated Sam Fox School administrators. The Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts was established in 2006. Previously, the fine art degrees were from the School of Art (later the College of Art), founded in 1879. Students typically retain ownership of copyright in papers, theses and dissertations written as a student to earn credit in university courses or otherwise to satisfy university degree requirements (WU IP Policy (§I(3)(b)(iii)). In most cases, any public distribution of MFA theses requires express consent of the author. Because we do not have the express consent from the authors of these works, they are not publicly available for viewing.
