Abstract
High-quality curricular materials, such as textbooks, workbooks, and software used by teachers for instruction, matter for student achievement. The costs of curricular materials are not always connected to their quality, so it is worth the time and effort to select the options that will result in significant boosts to student learning.1,2This brief addresses features to look for in high-quality curricular materials and considerations for adoption and implementation of these materials to improve student achievement.
