Abstract

This project is offered as a viable prototype design solution for rebui !ding the central areas of smal I American cities. The prfnciples developed here are primarily design principles and are not based on unique economic or planning polfcy assumptions. The conditions governing the design of this prototype are intended to be consistent with both the scope of current planning practiceand with the free-market potential of the central business district.
