Abstract
I elaborate upon the conceptual underpinning behind my recent sound and video work and how it explores a conversation between the individual artist and the larger social, economic, and technological context. I discuss the novel aspects of the digital realm that are interesting to me, both ones that give me cause for optimism and those which are disturbing.
