Abstract
When I was deciding how best to share the results of a research project I began in 2010, I grew frustrated with the creative limitations of simply reporting my work in a scholarly article. While academia emphasizes the importance of dissemination in clear and formulaic ways, I wanted to share my work through music, clips of the voices I had heard in my interviews, words, and a call to action. The results became this video and a website. I chose to do this because I wanted my research to be more, to exist at the intersection of participation and continuation, to live on and grow. This is what my video speaks to.
