November 7, 2014 - November 9, 2014, Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts,
Washington University in St. Louis
Women in Architecture 1974 | 2014 will bring together key stakeholders—practitioners, scholars, educators, and students—to reflect on the past while addressing the issues of our current era. Nasrine Seraji, founding partner of Atelier Seraji, Architects and Partners, will deliver the keynote lecture, titled As a woman I have no country, as a woman my country is the world of architecture. Several panel discussions and a moderated wrap-up conversation will anchor Saturday's programming. The symposium will conclude with a series of workshops on Sunday.
This symposium is free and open to the public, but all attendees are strongly encouraged to register online. Please note that registration is required for meals and select events. A total of five AIA CEUs are available (one for the keynote lecture, one for each of the four panels).
Women in Architecture: 1974 | 2014 is sponsored by the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. The symposium is supported by Arcturis, Universal Fibers, and a Diversity and Inclusion Grant from the Office of the Provost.
