Venue & Registration
The workshop will be held at the Knight Center at Washington University in St. Louis.
Funding for junior researchers has been provided by NSF DMS-1623028. As of 08/15/2016, all of these funds have been allocated.
You may use this link to access the registration form. Registration is required for attendance. While registration is open to all, the total number of participants for this workshop is limited to 80 (the room capacity). Therefore, registration will close if and when the maximum number of participants is reached, or on 1st September, whichever occurs first. The $300 registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and two coffee breaks on all three days, and the banquet dinner on Saturday.
Travel
The nearest airport is Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (airport code: STL).
The MetroLink train can be used to travel to and from the airport and campus. It costs $3-4 each way, and your ticket must be validated in a machine before boarding. From the airport, take the (Red) train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere station, get off and switch to the (Blue) train going in the direction of Shrewsbury.
Take this train one stop to the Skinker Station (to be close to the math department) or two stops to the Big Bend Station (to be closer to housing).
Accommodation
The Clayton Plaza Hotel is available Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at a rate of $109/night. The conference center hotel is available Friday and Saturday night at $119/night, but there are currently no more rooms available on Thursday night. Participants could stay at the Clayton Plaza for the duration of their stay, and use the shuttle service (or make the 1.6 mile walk) to reach the conference center. Alternatively, it is possible to stay at Clayton Plaza on Thursday night, and switch to the conference center for Friday and Saturday. There will be space to store your bags on Friday. In either case, you are encouraged to to ensure that you get these rates. In any case, the rooms we are holding will be released by 1st September. After that date, we cannot offer assistance in securing accommodation. Participants are always welcome to make their own arrangements for accommodation.
