The Weidenbaum Center, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization at Washington University in St. Louis, was created in 1975 as the Center for the Study of American Business under the direction of Murray Weidenbaum. The Center was named in honor of Professor Weidenbaum in 2001.

The Center is a research institute at Washington University in St. Louis that supports social scientific research in the fields of public policy, economics, political science, and sociology. It funds faculty research, provides administrative support for research activities, and sponsors a wide range of public affairs programs.
