Description
Site: Hong Kong
Based on the diversity culture environment and unique landscape of the site. An intergenerational learning center is proposed to bring the young and older people from two different levels into the architecture with a floating courtyard. The idea of the project is about the discussion of the threshold between indoor/outdoor space. In the project, the changing of scale, material and form defines new relationships between indoor/outdoor space. The changing floor and cycling emphasize the movement and flow of the space. The project also talks about the possibility of corner space. Two corners are opened to the sea and have conversation to each other in different scales.
