Abstract
This paper provides an overview of green hydrogen production, focusing on the use of solar energy as a renewable source. The current state and predicted growth of the hydrogen economy are discussed, followed by an examination of existing technologies for solar-based hydrogen production. Two main methods are explored: solar thermal and photovoltaic electrolysis. Cost and efficiency are also considered in the analysis. Finally, recommendations for future solar-to-hydrogen production are presented in the conclusion.
