Problem Statement
The purpose of this project was to create a portable, lightweight treadmill which could decrease its footprint when not in use. The primary demographic for this device will be working professionals who currently spend most of their day in an office chair, thereby giving them the option to walk at a comfortable pace while working. Other demographics include students at all levels to use in the classroom or the library, citizens watching television in their living rooms, and elderly persons who do not want to leave the comfort of their homes to exercise.
