Problem Statement

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) hosts annual competitions for engineeringstudents across the world. The ASME 2018 Student Design Competition wasto build a robotic soccerteam to compete in a FIFA World Cup style elimination tournament. Robot(s) must fit inside a 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 meter cube,be powered by batteries, and be controlled by a human operator with a wireless radio transmitter or through an electrical “umbilical” cord. The balls are tennis balls.
