Problem Statement
This Senior Design project is called Car Jack 2.0. The goal of the project is to lift a vehicle entirely off the ground, around 1-2 inches, so that the tires can be rotated. The design we created is an attachment that is placed on top of an existing carjack. The design consists of four steel arms bolted to a round base plate. The arms are extendable so that they can be adjusted for different vehicle sizes. The arms adjust to align with the frame underneath the vehicle. As the carjack is engaged, the vehicle is lifted from the 4 contact points of the frame, thus lifting it off the ground.
