Abstract
This study proposed to determine (1) whether there existed behaviors or performances, termed indices of competence, judged by supervisors to be essential to evaluate the post-master's degree performance of social caseworkers, and if so, (2) whether such indices differentiated the skill level of the probationer, junior worker, senior worker, worker ready to supervise, or worker ready to practice without supervision.
