Abstract
This dataset represents the interspecies associations of central chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes) and western lowland gorillas (Gorilla gorilla gorilla) in the Goualougo Triangle, Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park, Republic of Congo from January 2014 to December 2020. These association data were used to conduct social network analyses on the pattern and consistency of interspecies social relationships. Lists of associating individual apes (observed to be within 50m: ) as well as the context and time period of these associations () are recorded herein.
