Abstract

This thesis examines the concepts of desire and distance in the artworks that I have produced over the past year – how images are naturally distanced from the viewer, and how I attempt to create images that spark a desire to cross these distances. Different kinds of distances manifest, producing different kinds of desire. This thesis pulls apart some of the nuances of these differences.
