Material and its Properties
Local stone is used to reflect the textural pallette and craft of local Tibetan elements found in existing buildings on site to create a smooth and harmonious ambiance of coexistence.

Environmental Response
The hotel project was an adaptive-reuse of existing local Tibetan vernacular buildings. New materials are used to match the characters of existing conditions.
