Projected Composition Operators on the Dirichlet Space

Abstract

A projected composition operator is a composition operator composed with a projection. Rochberg has proven several results concerning projected composition operators on the Hardy space. Building on his work, I prove analogous results for projected composition operators on the Dirichlet space. This thesis features explicit examples, d-bar techniques, and probabilistic methods.
