Who Can Submit
Senior Honors Papers / Undergraduate Theses only publishes materials that were in fulfillment of a Senior Honors Project. BFA students should submit to https://openscholarship.wustl.edu/bfa/
Submission Agreement for Senior Honors Papers / Undergraduate Theses
When you submit your work, you will be asked to grant Washington University in St. Louis the non-exclusive right to distribute your submission ("the Work") over the Internet, and make it part of the Washington University Open Scholarship. Further, when you submit your work you must have the full power and authority to make the agreement; warrant that the Work does not infringe any copyright, nor violate any proprietary rights, nor contain any libelous matter, nor invade the privacy of any person or third party; and warrant that no right in the Work has in any way been sold, mortgaged, or otherwise disposed of, and that the Work is free from all liens and claims.
Rights and Permissions
Before submitting a paper to the repository, please be sure that all necessary permissions have been cleared. Your research might include pictures, graphs, art examples, or other items which have been published elsewhere. To make your work available on Open Scholarship, you must ensure that you are including materials consistent with the rights of the owners of previous work.
If your work contains data that was collected, processed, or arranged by third parties (whether from within your lab, school, department, or elsewhere), it is your responsibility to discuss permissions for and any restrictions on distributing research with your PI, mentor, or other advisors. Data made publicly available should not contain information that could risk the confidentiality of subjects from whom it was obtained.
Copyright and any other intellectual property rights in or to the materials shall not be transferred by depositing your paper on Open Scholarship. You retain all rights, title, copyright and other interest in the materials, and grant Washington University the nonexclusive right to display, distribute, transmit, publish and copy the materials for the purpose of including them in Open Scholarship.
It is necessary that you agree to the terms of publishing in the repository listed in the author agreement.

Access
Papers published in Senior Honors Papers / Undergraduate Theses are accessible to the world.
Removal
A paper may be updated or removed from public view by sending a request to the system administrator at digital@wumail.wustl.edu. However, a citation to the original version of the paper will always remain on the site.
Author Review
Authors do not have an opportunity to approve papers they have submitted prior to them becoming publicly available on the site; therefore, please be sure that the paper is ready for public distribution.
