Abstract
Content from Germanistik, a leading bibliography of German language, German literature, and other areas of Germanic philology, is now searchable in the Germanistik Online Datenbank (Database) hosted on De Gruyter’s Reference Global platform. Entries going back to the first issue of Germanistik in 1960 through 2009 are currently included, thus making Germanistik Online one of the most comprehensive bibliographical databases for Germanic philology. Besides numerous search options, users can also browse through entries by category. Highly-valued abstracts are also included in many of the entries. Some issues were noted with using the interface. Germanistik Online is available for purchase or yearly subscription.
